Dakar, Senegal- Uche Nwaeji, Alicia Keys, Karon Hepburn of the Stephen Friedman Gallery, Swizz Beatz, and Kehinde Wiley celebrate at the opening of Wiley’s artist residency, Black Rock, in Dakar, Senegal on Sunday, May 26, 2019.

Designed by architect Abib Djenne, Black Rock will welcome artists, filmmakers and writers from around the world to create bodies of work in the western most point on the African continent. Photos by NY based artist Dwayne Rogers decorate the walls while local designer Aissa Dione created the interior.
